The art of walking fine line between abstraction and realism
I had this bathroom thought of why 60fps videos have this weird feel to it while watching them, specially on vlog videos or any videos featuring a normal activity of a human.

I remember this youtuber that on the context of filmaking, using 24fps is like a painting, it doesn't need to look realistic to be artistic and good looking.
Which leads to me to this, when the painting is too abstract, the meaning becomes too wide and could mean almost anything, hence becomes meaningless, when the art is too realistic, it becomes a photograph. The meaning becomes too narrow hence it becomes too boring.
I came to a conclusion: it is much more of a show of skill of the artist if he can hit the right balance between abstraction and realism, compared to someone that hits both extremes. That's the reason why most of the most expensive paintings are not overly abstract nor overly realistic.
